What is Qynn?
Qynn was founded to revolutionise how individuals and corporates view, access and analyse SME corporate data and information.
Where does our data come from?
Our data is generated from the formal submissions made by every company in the UK.
What do we report?
We can only report on the data that is filed during the formal submissions made by that particular company.
How up to date is our data?
Our data is updated as soon as we are notified that something has changed within any UK company.
Do you offer an API?
Yes. Please contact us via email at to find out more on our API.
Do you offer an affiliate program?
No, but if we do, we'll tell you!
How can I talk to you?
We love hearing from customers - you can email us at or via our Twitter handle, #AskQynn.
Why can't I call you?
Qynn is a digital platform and we are trying to keep our costs super low so that we can pass the best monthly price possible on to you. If we have to staff a telephone line then that cost has to be absorbed somewhere and we don't want to do that.
What personal data does Qynn have about me?
The personal data that Qynn has about you will include personal data you have provided to us and personal data we may have collected about you from third party sources. If you are connected to a legal entity such as a public company, Qynn will store personal data about you in relation to that legal entity such as company director and shareholder information.
I haven't given permission for Qynn to process my personal data.
Qynn processes a portion of your personal data based on your explicit consent. You give us your consent when we ask for personal data such as your name and you provide this to us usually through an online form. Qynn processes other personal data based on our legitimate interest, that is to provide services and products in the public's interest which help them meet with compliance and legal obligations, protect them against fraud, reduce financial risks by having comprehensive information on individuals and corporate entities, and provide marketing solutions to help them grow their business.
I want Qynn to erase all personal data they hold about me.
Qynn will erase personal data that you have explicitly consented, that is personal data that you have provided to us. You may withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us (see section 6 of our privacy policy).

As for personal data which you haven't explicitly consented, Qynn has legitimate grounds to gather and process this personal data in accordance with the GDPR (see section 4 of our privacy policy).

According to the GDPR, when does my right to erasure not apply?

Your right to erasure does not apply if processing is necessary for one of the following reasons:

  • To exercise the right of freedom of expression and information
  • To comply with a legal obligation
  • For the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority
  • For archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific research historical research or statistical purposes where erasure is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of that processing
  • For the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
How long is a Qynn subscription for?
You are subscribed for as long as you want to be. Our account packages are billed monthly and cancellation is simple.
Can I cancel part way through the month?
Yes, but we will still charge you for the remainder of the month.
Do you offer refunds?
No. It is crucial, therefore, that you have the funds in place before you place the order.
How do I change my payment card details?
You can access your payment details in the payment details section within your account.
I need an invoice - where can I find this?
Invoices can be found in your account under the invoice section.
Can I have more than one account?
Yes, however you would be paying for two which seems a little silly.
How do I administer my team or corporate subscriptions?
Assuming that there are two or more of you in the team, then you can find all subscribers within the administrators section of your account. If you’re not the administrator, then you won’t be able to see this.
Can I share my account details?
No. Each user needs a separate account and we monitor usage against our fair usage policy.
My card has been declined - what do I do?
Oops. That's nothing to do with us unfortunately and you will need to contact your bank for more information.
How do you process credit card payments?
We use Stripe, the global payments house, to process all payments. We are PCI compliant through their payment vehicle and no payment data is held on our servers.
Do you offer referral fees or discounts for introductions?
Yes. Please see the link here to claim your free month. As with any great deal though, it has to work for us too. Therefore, please note that any referral fee will be deducted from your billed amount at the end of the second month of the referral.
Where do you generate your data from?
Our data is generated from the formal submissions made by every company in the UK.
How confident can I be that your data is accurate?
Our data is generated from the formal submissions that are required by UK law for each and every company that has traded in the last 20 years. We only report what they report.
Can I brand your data?
Yes, however you will need an Enterprise license to do so.
Why do my reports have the Qynn logo in it - can I change this?
Yes, however you will need an Enterprise license to do so.
I have certain regular reporting requirements - can Qynn help me with these?
Yes, we allow for regular reports to be generated through our analytics suite. Simply click the Watchlist button for the Company or Industry that you are looking at and you can create the frequency of reporting.
Do you sell your data to 3rd parties?
We have not needed to do so to date, however if you are so keen to use our data and a monthly Qynn licence just won't cut it ... the feel free to email us at with your contact details and let's chat.
Is there a limit to the amount of companies I can watch?
No. In fact, the more you watch, the better the indicative averages will be.
How do I know if a Company is dormant or has ceased trading?
We tell you when a Company has ceased trading or is dormant. This information can be found on the Company page overview.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel you subscription, go on your subscription page and click the "Cancel my subscription" link within the table.
Do subscriptions auto-renew every cycle?
Yes! Unless you cancel your subscription before your billing cycle renews, you will automatically be charged for the next month.
What is the subscription cycle?
Your subscription cycle begins when you buy the plan, and renews every month. For example, if you begin your plan on December 25th, your cycle will renew on January 24th the following month.
If I upgrade my subscription, is the new subscription available to me immediately?
Yes, the new subscription will be applied and you will have access to the new section immediately.
Can I cancel part way through my contract?
Yes, but the balance on the account will be charged to your credit card.
Does my subscription end as soon as I cancel it?
No. You'll have access to the subscription and what it has to offer until the end of your subscription period.
